That’s why I’ve reviewed the Plushbeds Bamboo sheets, which are made with high-quality bamboo fabric. In my unbiased review, I cover my testing experience with these sheets, describe the feel, price and other important details for sheet shoppers out there. Keep reading to get all the details.

What Do the Plushbeds Bamboo Sheets Feel Like?
The Plushbeds Bamboo sheets have a soft, silky feel to them. This is a common characteristic of bamboo sheets. Right out of the box they had a slight slick feeling to them. But after the first wash, it went away.

Plushbeds Bamboo Sheets Materials
Plushbeds uses rayon from bamboo to make its bamboo sheets. This material is soft, breathable and moisture-wicking. This material makes the sheets thermo-regulating, and it won’t trap heat, so you’ll stay cool and won’t feel sweaty.
The bamboo has been woven with a twill weave, which helps give the sheets a soft, cloud-like feel. The fitted sheet has pockets that are 22” deep, meaning that they have extra deep pockets. And in combination with an extra thick elastic band, the fitted sheet should stay secure on your mattress.
30-60 Min Nap with the Plushbeds Bamboo Sheets
I love bamboo sheets. I prefer them over cotton or polyester because of their silky feel and ability to keep me cool while I sleep. The Plushbeds Bamboo sheets are a win for bamboo lovers, and I enjoyed them, too.
Everything I love about bamboo sheets is present in the Plushbeds sheets. They have the classic soft, silky feel that bamboo sheets are known for. I will say, I tested these sheets on a shorter mattress, and as I was dressing the bed, the fitted sheet felt secure. But because of the extra deep pockets, if you have a shorter bed like the one I dressed, these sheets will feel a little loose unless you do some serious tucking underneath the mattress with the fitted sheet.
While I napped, I didn’t feel hot and sweaty, which wasn’t surprising since bamboo sheets tend to sleep cool. This was great for me because I generally run pretty hot. I tend to nap with two thin layers, and while the blanket I placed on top of the flat sheets while I slept added a little extra warmth, I still stayed cool.
But as someone who tosses and turns, and the fact that I had the fitted sheet on a shorter bed, I had to readjust the fitted sheet when I was finished sleeping.

What to Consider Before Buying
Now that we’ve covered the materials and my testing experience with the Plushbeds Bamboo sheets, let’s discuss a few more important factors.
Sleeping Hot or Cold
Bamboo sheets are great for hot sleepers because they are breathable and moisture-wicking. The Plushbeds Bamboo sheets are exactly that, and they’re fairly lightweight, too. I love bamboo products because I’m a hot sleeper, so if you’re like me you won’t have to worry about overheating with these sheets.
Care Instructions
The Plushbeds Bamboo sheets are machine-washable. Plushbeds recommends washing in a warm water cycle with a cold water rinse. Use a mild detergent or a non-chlorine bleach detergent for the white sheets. Tumble dry on low heat and remove promptly.
Allergies
Bamboo sheets are naturally hypoallergenic, so these sheets won’t trigger any allergies, nor will they attract or trap allergens in your sleep environment. These sheets also have the added benefit of being machine-washable to help remove anything that does land on the sheets.
Company Policies
Here’s what you can expect when you make a purchase with Plushbeds.
Set Includes
For this review, I received the queen-size set in white. This included:
- A fitted sheet
- A top sheet
- Two pillow cases.
Plushbeds offers six color options and seven size options, ranging from twin all the way to split king. The twin and twin XL sets will have just one pillowcase, while full to split king will come with two.
At the time of writing this review, some colors are out of stock for certain sizes. Make sure to check the website for the latest available options.
Return Policy
The only way the Plushbeds Bamboo sheets are returnable is if they are new and unopened. Once you open the sheets, Plushbeds considers this to be a sanitary and safety issue, and will exempt these sheets from being returned or exchanged.
If they are unopened, you can return for a full refund, or exchange for a different product. However, Plushbeds will take out the shipping cost from the refund, or you will be responsible for the shipping costs on exchanges.
If you do keep the sheets, they come with a five-year warranty.
How Do the Plushbeds Bamboo Sheets Compare To Other Sheets?
Never used a set of bamboo sheets like the Plushbeds sheets before? Let’s compare these to a set of cotton sheets and linen sheets to show how bamboo differs from other materials.
Plushbeds vs Saatva
For those that love cotton sheets, Saatva’s Organic Sateen sheets are a stand out. As the name suggests, these sheets use a sateen weave, which leaves the cotton threads feeling soft and satin-like. But they retain that classic cotton feel for those who prefer cotton sheets.
Both should be good for hot sleepers, but bamboo does have the added benefit of being moisture-wicking and having a more silk-like feel. However, Saatva’s dedication to making organic products means that these sheets don’t come in any dyed color options, only having a natural color, white or gray. With Plushbeds, if you’re looking for color, you’ll have six options to choose from.

Fans of silky bamboo sheets | People who prefer cotton sheets |
People who want color options | Fans of an all-white look for their bedding |

Plushbeds vs Avocado
Sheets can have different textures depending on the materials used to make them. Linens are made from flax and have a stubbly texture to them, but they can still feel soft on the skin, especially the more you wash them. Avocado’s Organic Linen sheet set uses high-quality European flax that has also been Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified, making them quality eco-friendly sheets, too.
If you like smooth feeling sheets, however, you’ll want to opt for the Plushbeds Bamboo sheets, which are soft and silky smooth. Both sheets work well for hot sleepers, but linens have lower thread counts, which means there’s a lot more room for airflow, so if you’re someone who gets extremely hot under the sheets, get the Avocado sheets.
Finally, Plushbeds does offer its bamboo sheets in six color options, while Avocado’s only come in a natural beige shade or white. This makes Plushbeds a bit more versatile for those who have more colorful bedroom aesthetics.

Plushbeds Bamboo Sheets FAQs
How long will the Plushbeds Bamboo sheets last?
Around five years. Bamboo is a very durable material, and with good care can last for years. Plushbeds also offers a five-year warranty on these sheets, so Plushbeds expects them to last that long as well.
What if I don’t like my Plushbeds Bamboo sheets?
Unfortunately, once you open the Plushbeds sheets, you cannot return them. Plushbeds will only let you return the sheets if they are new and unopened.
Are bamboo sheets too cold for winter?
They are not! While bamboo sheets are great for hot sleepers thanks to their breathability and moisture-wicking properties, Plushbeds mentions that its bamboo sheets are thermo-regulating. This means that the sheets will also keep heat in when you need them, so these sheets won’t feel cold in winter months.
