If people want a quality hybrid mattress, they usually have to spend a good amount of money to get one. Coils and high-density foams can really drive up the price of a luxury hybrid mattress without question.
That’s why I was surprised when I saw that the Allswell Supreme mattress costs less than $1,000 for a Queen-size mattress. As a fan of the original Allswell mattress, I was excited to try out Allswell’s most high-end mattress.
This unbiased Allswell Supreme Mattress review will go over everything people should know about this mattress, including a full breakdown of the construction, pros and cons, firmness and feel, comfort, support, motion isolation, edge support, breathability, durability, and much more.

Allswell Supreme Mattress Overview
Allswell is Walmart’s online bed-in-a-box brand. They sell three different types of mattresses: The Allswell, Allswell Luxe Hybrid, and Allswell Supreme. Each option is a hybrid mattress containing coils and memory foam. Overall, it’s a great option for those looking for one of the best cheap mattresses.
In this Allswell Supreme mattress review, we’ll take a closer look at the brand’s high-end model. At 14” tall, the Allswell Supreme is thicker than their other two hybrid beds. This luxury mattress includes a plush Eurotop cover, cooling memory foam layer, supportive Energex foam layer, and a base made of individually wrapped coils.
Like all mattresses, the Allswell Supreme may be better suited for some sleepers over others. Keep reading to see who this mattress might be a good fit for:

Allswell Supreme Mattress Firmness and Feel
In order to know who this mattress is a good fit for, we took a close look at the bed’s firmness and feel. Read on to see if the Allswell Supreme mattress is right for you!
How Firm is the Allswell Supreme Mattress?
In terms of feel, the Allswell Supreme felt close to a 7/10, a little firmer than average. The top layers are very soft, and it is easy to press my hand into them. Then, my hand hits the support layers and stops. The soft top and firmer support layers combine to make the mattress just firmer-than-average.
Sleeping On The Allswell Supreme Mattress
Most back sleepers should find the Allswell Supreme feels very comfortable. The individually-wrapped coils provide enough support, and the memory foam layer takes the shape of the body and supports the lumbar area. Check out our best mattresses for back sleepers for more like the Allswell Supreme.
Side sleeping, the mattress feels firm at first. Then, it slowly starts to soften up and allows the sleeper to sink into the mattress. It provides fantastic pressure relief on shoulders and hips.
Stomach sleepers may find the mattress feels too soft and doesn’t provide enough support on pressure points. People who mostly sleep on their stomachs may want to consider a firmer, more supportive mattress.
What Does the Allswell Supreme Mattress Feel Like?
Even with the coils, the mattress has more of a slow-moving memory foam feel. The Energex Foam does not add too much bounce so it is sometimes difficult to move around.
Average Weight Sleepers – 130lbs – 230lbs
While back sleeping, average weight people should feel a great balance of comfort and support. The top layers should press into one’s lumbar area, while the memory foam conforms to the precise curves of the body.
Average weight side sleepers should also find the Allswell Supreme mattress to be quite comfortable. The top layers feel soft and should relieve pressure in this sleeping position. While the mattress might feel firm when people first lie down, they will slowly start to sink into the mattress.
For stomach sleepers, the Allswell Supreme isn’t a great choice. The soft memory foam layers don’t keep the body in alignment, which could cause strain along pressure points. People who primarily sleep on their stomachs should look at the best firm mattresses.
Heavyweight Sleepers – Over 230lbs
Because the coils are individually-wrapped, the Allswell Supreme should be able to support heavier weights. Larger people will especially feel this while back sleeping.
People who weigh more than 230lbs, though, may not find side sleeping on the Allswell Supreme as comfortable. It’s possible they could sink deeper into the comfort layers and feel more pressure on their joints during the night.
Similarly, stomach sleepers may find the Allswell Supreme isn’t firm enough to keep their spines in alignment. This could result in added pressure, which could cause pain over time.

Lightweight Sleepers – Under 130lbs
Lightweight people should feel almost no pressure on their shoulders and hips, making it a great option for back and side sleeping. Stomach sleepers, however, will likely feel the bed is too soft to alleviate pressure. For this reason, the Allswell Supreme is not a good choice for stomach sleepers.
Allswell Supreme Mattress Construction
The Allswell Supreme mattress includes both individually-wrapped coils and high quality memory foam. Let’s take a deep dive into what’s inside each layer.
Cover
The cover is quilted with a bit of a Euro-top for added softness and pressure relief. This causes sleepers to slowly sink into the mattress, rather than lie on top it.
Comfort Layers
Below the cover sits a layer of graphite and copper gel-infused memory foam, which gives the mattress great pressure relief and body contouring.
Then, there is a layer of Energex Foam, which prevents sleepers from sinking too far into the mattress. Energex foam has both memory foam and latex mattress qualities where it is soft and lets people sink in. At the same time, it is a bit bouncy and responsive. The foam is open-celled, making it more breathable than most memory foams.
Support Layer
Underneath the Energex foam layer sits a series of individually-wrapped coils, which are highly supportive and durable.
Mattress Height
The mattress is 14″ tall.

Allswell Supreme Mattress Performance
How does the Allswell Supreme mattress perform? Read on to learn about its cooling features, motion transfer, edge support, and durability.
Sleeping Hot or Cold
This should not be a hot-sleeping mattress. The memory foam contains both graphite and copper gel, which both should help with heat dissipation. At the same time, the coils will promote airflow through the mattress, so overall the mattress should sleep quite cool.
Motion Transfer
If someone is looking for a mattress for couples, they will want to make sure the mattress can handle motion transfer. They want to be sure that they and their partner can move around freely without disturbing one another.
Memory foam is usually very good at preventing motion transfer across the mattress, so I was not surprised by how well the Allswell Supreme isolates motion. I placed a glass of water on one side of the mattress and pushed into the other side, and I did not see too much disturbance in the water.
If people sleep with a partner, they shouldn’t feel each other moving around on their respective sides.

Edge Support
Couples should also think about edge support when they are looking for a mattress. You and your partner will want as much room to sleep as possible so you want a mattress that will let you sleep toward the edge.
Sitting down near the edge of the Allswell Supreme, the mattress does not collapse too much underneath me. The memory foam and Energex Foam do give in, but the coils hold me up. Also, when I lie down near the edge, I don’t feel like I am going to roll off.
The Allswell Supreme actually includes a reinforced edge. This makes the edge of the mattress more supportive than the rest. This is giving the Supreme that great edge support.
Durability
Because of its high quality materials, The Allswell Supreme should be a long lasting mattress. The individually-wrapped coils should lend support for many years and the responsive Energex Foam should not sag too quickly.

Off-Gassing
It’s common for new mattresses to emit a slight chemical smell after unboxing. We call this off-gassing, and the Allswell Supreme does have a subtle odor at first. After 24-48 hours, though, the smell completely fades. Overall, sleepers will find off-gassing isn’t a big issue for the Allswell mattress.
Noise
The Allswell Supreme’s individually wrapped coils are the only part of the mattress that could potentially create noise. During testing, we did not hear any sounds coming from the mattress.
Sex
Even though it features a layer of individually wrapped coils, the Allswell Supreme’s memory foam layer can make couples “sink” into the mattress. For this reason, it’s not the best mattress for sex. Instead, partners may prefer a mattress that feels bouncy and responsive.
Company Policies
It’s always important to read the fine print before purchasing a new mattress. Check out the full list of Allswell’s company policies below.
Warranty Info
The Allswell Supreme comes with a 10-year limited warranty, which is on par with other mattress-in-a-box brands.
Sleep Trial
The 100-night sleep trial allows you to test out the mattress for over three months before returning.
Return Policy
If you’re dissatisfied with your Allswell mattress after the initial sleep trial, you can return it for a refund.

Allswell Vs. Nectar
The Allswell Supreme and Original Nectar mattresses share some similarities, but they will be better options for different people. Both mattress are medium firm, but the Nectar is slightly more supportive. Also, both mattresses have a slow-moving memory foam feel.
The Allswell Supreme has coils and memory foam while the Nectar is an all-foam mattress. Those who struggle with sleeping hot at night may prefer the Allswell because its coils promote airflow. The Nectar does include a quilted cooling Tencel mattress cover, but it could still sleep hotter than the Allswell.
The Allswell Supreme is slightly more affordable than the Nectar. A queen-sized Allswell Supreme costs $487.00, and a Nectar of the same size costs $1099.00. Though, with coupons and promotions, the Nectar may cost even less than the Allswell.

Allswell Vs. Casper
The Allswell Supreme and original Casper mattresses are both firm mattresses, making them good options for back and side sleepers. Those looking for a responsive and bouncy mattress will prefer the original Casper mattress. The Allswell Supreme has a slow-moving memory foam feel, and it is sometimes difficult to move around on it.
The Allswell Supreme is made with coils and memory foam. The original Casper, however, is made entirely of foam. Because of this, the Allswell Supreme should feel cooler than the Casper. Fans of a thicker mattress will prefer the Allswell Supreme; it is 14” tall and the Casper is 11” tall. We found the original Casper has better motion transfer than the Allswell Supreme, making it a good fit for couples.
The two options have similar price points, but the Allswell is slightly more affordable. A queen sized Allswell Supreme costs $487.00, and a queen sized Casper costs $1295.00.
