We felt great while back sleeping on the Cocoon Chill Hybrid. We experienced a pleasant balance of comfort and spinal support, which is crucial for this sleep position.
While side sleeping on the Cocoon Chill Hybrid, we experienced a bit of pressure around the shoulder and hip. Lighter-weight folks might feel less pressure, but side sleepers who prefer a plusher feel will probably want to look for a dedicated mattress for side sleepers.
In our experience, the Cocoon Chill Hybrid is a bit too soft for stomach sleeping. Our hips sank a touch too far into the mattress and pulled the spine out of alignment.

The Cocoon Chill Hybrid features high-density foams and durable coils, so this should be a long-lasting mattress that won’t sag or break down quickly. Expect this mattress to last for approximately 7 to 10 years.

We did observe some initial off-gassing from the Cocoon Chill Hybrid. This should dissipate within 48 hours.
Noise
At the time of this review, we didn’t observe any notable noise from the Cocoon Chill Hybrid. That said, because this mattress incorporates coils, it’s possible the coils could start to squeak a bit as time goes on.
Sex
When people hunt for a mattress for sex, they’re usually looking for a bed that makes it easy to change positions. Because the Cocoon Chill Hybrid has a slow-moving feel, it might not be the best option. Partners won’t have the easiest time moving around on top of this bed.
