Saatva vs Brooklyn Bedding Overview
The Saatva is an upscale version of the spring mattresses so many people are used to. If someone likes that type of feel, Saatva is the way to go. The Saatva is thicker overall and the zoned construction makes it more supportive where heavier people need it the most.
If someone is really having trouble deciding between the two, they can at least save a few hundred dollars by going with Brooklyn Bedding. This bed also has some extra bounce and resilience.

Key Differences
- Brooklyn Bedding is made of latex and polyfoam; Saatva is made with springs, memory foam, and polyfoam
- Brooklyn Bedding is bouncier than the Saatva because of the latex on the top of the mattress
- Saatva is 1.5 inches thicker than Brooklyn Bedding
- Saatva has a zoned construction to give more support in the middle part of the mattress, while Brooklyn Bedding has a more uniform feel

Saatva vs Brooklyn Bedding Construction
Saatva has a traditional luxury spring mattress design that starts with a standard base layer of coils. Above that is another layer of pocketed coils, completing what’s called a “coil-on-coil” design. Above that is a layer of memory foam and then a quilted layer with a euro pillow style design. The mattress features zoned construction, which means that the center of the mattress is firmer and more supportive where people need it the most.
The best mattress ever features two layers of latex over a base layer of polyfoam. The materials are durable and the mattress is very breathable. With latex as the comfort layer, the mattress is very bouncy. It is much more bouncy than the Saatva.
Which Should You Pick?
I think the decision really comes down to what type of feel people are looking for. If someone likes and is used to traditional spring mattresses, they will probably really enjoy Saatva. If someone wants a foam feel with a little extra bounce, then Brooklyn Bedding might potentially be the way to go.
