Sleeping with the Big Blanket Co. Original Stretch Blanket
Now, you know that this blanket is big. It’s in the company’s name. The first time I pulled this blanket out of its plastic bag, I wasn’t really prepared to see what 100 square feet of fabric looked like.
This blanket, true to its name, is massive! It definitely could cover a king-size bed, and still have some overhang!
Whenever I’ve tried to sleep with throw blankets before, I’ve always found that some part of me doesn’t get fully covered, which means I can feel a cool draft.
That’s not a problem with the Original Stretch. While it does have some temperature regulating properties, this blanket felt nice and warm when I needed it to, but I never found myself overheating.

I should mention, this blanket’s size is its biggest selling point, but it could also be its biggest drawback. If you’re not the biggest fan of feeling trapped in a blanket burrito, then this might not be the best choice. It could be a little difficult to adjust or change sleeping positions.

Now, we know this blanket is huge and it is indeed soft. But let’s see how it actually performed when we tested it out!
Sleeping Hot or Cold
As mentioned, the Original Stretch blanket is designed with temperature regulation in mind. As a hot sleeper myself, I was nervous that I was going to be overheated with a blanket this big.
But, I’m happy to report that this blanket felt nice and comfortable. It warmed me up when I needed it to, but it never felt like I was going to overheat. This is a really comfortable blanket!
